For me, prayer is a surge of the heart; it is a simple look turned toward heaven, it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy. -St. Therese of Lisieux
The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that prayer is a gift from God: a covenant relationship and communion between God and man in Christ (CCC 2558 - 2565).
Developing a vital prayer life is essential to the Christian life, and it can be compatible with everyday life, too - just 5 to 10 minutes of quiet time each day to start with is fine. You can pray right here and now, as you sit at your computer, using any of the prayers in the Section Navigation bar.
It is possible to offer fervent prayer even while walking in public or strolling alone, or seated in your shop,...while buying or selling,...or even while cooking. -St. John Chrysostom
Prayer Requests
Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. -Philippians 4:6-7
Submit a prayer request to be included in other parishioners' personal or group prayer by emailing the office manager at
